Talented Heiress: A Rose With Thorns

Chapter 859

Yvette walked out of the dungeon and received a call from Ellen.

"You've been extremely busy since you returned to Jubilife City, Yvie. We haven't had the chance to hang out properly. I miss you!

"You wouldn't believe the dull life I've been living. Xavier reported back to the organization, and you've been busy elsewhere. I swear I'm bored out of my mind!"

"Bored?" Yvette leisurely raised a delicate eyebrow. She said, "That's not what I heard, though. You seem to be having tons of fun at Jubilife Research Institute, teasing lan all day."

Ellen cleared her throat diffidently. Then, she protested matter-of-factly, "Don't talk about him, Yvie. I haven't seen him for the past few days, much less have the chance to mess with him."

Did Ellen just say that lan was missing as well? Yvette rubbed her chin in thought, sensing that something was amiss.

"It's been a long time since we've seen each other, Yvie. You'll have to hang out with me today."

Yvette couldn't bring herself to reject Ellen when the latter was acting this sweetly. She nodded and agreed to it. "Okay."

"You're the best, Yvie. I've sent you the location. See you there!"

Once Yvette ended the call, she walked out of the room.

"Where are you going, Ms. Yvette? I'll take you there," Samuel said respectfully.

"It's okay. I can go by myself." Yvette shook her head and turned down his offer. "You guys don't have to follow me."

Needless to say, Samuel didn't dare go against her orders. "Very well, Ms. Yvette."

Back in Rosarium Manor, Wilson checked the watch on his hand and saw that it

was already 11:30 pm. Yvette's birthday was just 30 minutes away.

"Everything's ready, and it's almost time. We can bring Yvie here now."

That said, vette was probably sleeping at this time of night.

Wilson's expression softened at the

thought of Yvette. He spoke

leisurely, "I'm going to bring Wette here, Jacob." noveldrama

Jacob and the other Murray brothers didn't compete with Wilson for the honor this time. Jacob nodded in agreement. "Okay."

At that moment, Wilson received a call from Samuel. "Ms. Yvette still hasn't

returned home, Mr. Quinn. I can't get a hold of her, either."

Everyone could clearly hear the anxiousness in Samuel's voice.

"What?" Wilson's eyes darkened. "Didn't I instruct you guys to follow her?"

"Ms. Yvette prevented us from following her, Mr. Quinn. We didn't dare go against her order as well."

Jacob's eyebrows knitted tightly. "What matters now is that we must find Yvie. Let's split up, everyone. We have to bring her here before 12:00 am."

"Okay, Jacob."

Adam and the others immediately responded before executing Jacob's order. Meanwhile, Wilson didn't waste a minute either. He rushed to his car and asked, "Who did vie bring with her when she left?"

"Ms. Yvette left by herself, but she's probably out with Ms. Valentine."

Wilson raised a charming eyebrow and spoke in a deep voice, "Look into Ellen's whereabouts."

"Understood, Mr. Quinn." Samuel

worked fast and tracked Ellen down

in less than ten minutes. "I've got her location, Mr. Quinn. Ms. Valentine is currently in a newly opened bar in Jubilife City."

Bar? Wilson's expression darkened, and his cold voice sounded absolutely

imposing. "Get there as if your life depended on it."

Samuel responded, "As you command, Mr. Quinn!"
