Talented Heiress: A Rose With Thorns

A group of men were prancing about on stage. They wore white shirts with the collars opened, revealing their pecs ever so slightly. They were swaying their hips and dancing erotically, livening things up in the bar.

Ellen was excited and clapped happily, while Yvette sat on the couch quietly.

The moment Wilson entered, he was met with an unlikely sight. He looked at Yvette and noticed that she was quite captivated by the performance. The expression on his stunning face darkened, and he gnashed his teeth so hard that he almost ground them to dust.

The manager of the bar, who was standing next to Wilson, felt a chill go down his spine from the cold coming off of Wilson. He shuddered in silence.

"Get a move on. Have them stop dancing and get off the stage."

If the manager didn't put an immediate stop to the sleazy dancing, he would be met with an angry Wilson, and his bar would be shut down for good.

"Huh? Why did the dancers stop so suddenly?" Ellen was extremely displeased when she saw that the men performing on the stage left quickly.

"What a mood killer. Where's the manager? Your dancers stopped in the middle of the performance. Things were just getting hot, and they shut the whole thing down for no good reason. Aren't I right, Yvie?"

Yvette nodded. "Exactly. It's a bit of a buzzkill."

Although the men didn't have as good a figure as a certain womanizer she knew, their dances were quite enjoyable. Them leaving the stage like this did indeed kill off the vibe a little.

At the next moment, Yvette heard a cold voice from behind them.

"It's my fault. I shouldn't have rained on your parade."

The tone sounded quite sarcastic as well. Yvette didn't even have to turn around to know who the voice belonged to.

Yvette clicked her tongue gently and felt a headache coming on. Why did he have to catch her at a time like this? It looked like the womanizer she had just thought of was already green with envy.

Ellen saw Wilson and the hostile look on his face. She immediately cleared her throat and rubbed her nose awkwardly. "Go ahead and chat, Yvie. I'll be waiting for you two in the car."

With that, Ellen bolted out of the bar as if her life depended on it.

Yvette was at a loss for words. She was overwhelmed by a wave of helplessness

now.

"What's so great about these coquettish pretty boys, baby?" Wilson's voice sounded flirtatious, but it was also laced with threat. "Do they have better figures than I do?"

Wilson looked so jealous that Yvette stifled laughter. She then said submissively, "Well, their figures can't compare with yours."

Wilson's clenched jaw relaxed a little when he heard what Yvette said, but his tone was still dripping with sarcasm. "If that's the case, then why were you staring at them that intensely?"

Yvette pursed her lips helplessly and said, "They put on a wonderful show, you see. I won't look at them anymore, though."

"Do you like this sort of dance?" Wilson exhaled his hot breath against Yvette's neck, which made her tremble uncontrollably. "How about I sway my hips for you next time?"

"Shut up!" Yvette's ears turned red, and she immediately reached out to cover Wilson's mouth. There were still many people around them. She couldn't let him continue to act this way.

Wilson saw Yvette's reaction and chuckled. Then, he checked the time, and his eyebrows immediately furrowed.

Time was running out. He didn't have the luxury to discuss her visit to the bar now. Thus, he took her wrist and quickly led her to the car.

Yvette looked out the window and realized that they weren't headed to the villa.

She blinked curiously and asked, "Where are we going?"noveldrama

Wilson lowered his head and leaned over to plant a kiss on Yvette's forehead. His voice sounded so deep and seductive that it made her body go soft. "You'll know when we get there, Yvie."
