Those rushing to choose sides had already lost before they even realized it. Evelyn fell into deep thought for a moment. Bailey was indeed talented, but Flying Seal Group wasn't lacking in that regard.

Lucas was also aware that taking one or two people wouldn't harm Flying Seal Group too much. But what he likely wanted wasn't for Flying Seal Group to fall apart; he wanted to silently plant a thorn.

It would definitely be unpleasant, and when the issue came up, it could easily be explained as Bailey voluntarily looking into Arrowpoint Solutions. Even if she were to confront Lucas in the future, she wouldn't have any solid ground to demand an explanation.

Luckily, Flying Seal Group was fairly stable overall. Bailey was the only one who wanted to leave. The other core members were all dignified. Many of them were brilliant individuals with strong principles and professional ethics.

Evelyn thought for a moment. She still needed to take care of the employee situation with Sebastian, and she had just mentioned the new project's new energy direction to him. She would likely be busy in these next couple of days.

She replied, "Next week after Tuesday would be good."

Graham's message came through again, saying, "Don't forget to review the books, I've sent you the new topics. Once you're ready, come to me." Evelyn sighed.

She felt like a spinning top, with Graham occasionally giving her a little push.

After replying, Evelyn thought about it. She still hadn't told Maria about changing her phone number. Since she had signed the agreement, it would probably be inappropriate if she changed her phone number without informing her.

She didn't dwell on it too much and decided to call Maria directly. The call was quickly answered. "Who is this?"

"Grandma, it's me," Evelyn said gently. "This is my new number. You can save it. I'm not using the old one anymore."

Maria sounded surprised. "Why did you suddenly change your number?"

Evelyn casually made up an excuse. "For work."

Maria didn't ask further and just responded kindly, "Alright, I'm at the hospital visiting Lucas. He's here with me. Do you want to speak with him?"

Evelyn hadn't expected Lucas to be there. The thought of him made her tense up. She instinctively narrowed her eyes, her thoughts turning to the earlier incident with the poaching of talent.

She furrowed her brows and replied, "No, it's fine."

But just as she finished speaking, she heard Lucas' calm, distant voice through the receiver. "Do you have time to come to the hospital today?"
