The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Not satisfied with just mocking Frank, the blond shouted out loud, "Look, everyone! This perv is trying to play the hero here!"

Everyone, including the waitress, was laughing with him.

"That's such an amusing geezer. He behaves like a gentleman when he's actually a pig!"

"Exactly. Did he think he could get something out of this? The girl is clearly a student-why would she be interested?"

"That's bullshit!" Demi snapped, springing to her feet right then. "Do you think I'm one of those shallow princesses who's convinced the world has to bow to me?! I don't mind giving it to you straight-I don't care about looks, only personality!

"Also, laugh at me all you want my family's quite poor, so there are plenty of people who are after me. There's no shortage of rich kids in their ranks either, driving Audis and whatnot. If I were that cheap, would I wear T-shirts worth just twenty bucks?!"

She certainly could not stand people mocking Frank, since he had voluntarily stepped up to defend her!

And at her outburst, the crowd promptly stopped mocking Frank.

The blond guy, however, did not play along. "So what? He still might want to get in your pants!"

"So what if he does?" Demi retorted coolly. "At least he's not a perv like you, and that makes him infinite times better than you!"

"Tch!"

The blond guy clicked his tongue in annoyance and whipped out a black card. "Geezer, buzz off and all the money in here is yours. I can also get you any other woman you want-let me have this one!"

The onlooking crowd was shocked, surprised that he was rich despite his nasty attitude!

And he was certainly feeling smug about it.

He had not planned to pull his cards out, since he refused to be a sucker despite being rich.

Even so, Demi's retort really touched a nerve, and he insisted on showing her how much of a gold-digger Frank was!

However, while the blond guy thought that Frank would leave as told, a tall, slender woman in a white suit strode in elegantly.

Naturally, it was none other than Jada Turin herself, with all the makings of a noble, handsome lady.

"What are you doing here?" she asked Frank.

While she was confident Frank could handle Elizabeth, she was bored and came along without being told, keeping an eye out on everything outside the cafe.

Like Frank her senses were far stronger than the average person thanks to the power of the spiritron vein and she knew everything happening inside the cafe.

However, while she thought she could let it slide, she refused to play nice when the blond guy started throwing money at Frank, and she decided to restore Frank's honor!

"Who is she?" the blond guy asked.

Jada ignored his lustful leer and hugged Frank's arm while pouting, "What's your problem, leaving even before I wake up, you dick?!"

Everyone in the cafe where the lab was trading glances.

What was going on here? How did some plain-faced middle-aged man hook up

with a girlboss like that?! Was the sun rising from the west?!

That's not all either-as if to make it sink in, Jada feigned surprise as if she had just noticed the blond guy holding a black card. "Oh, I have that

too... and a few at that! Is he trying to show off, darling? I'll show him!"

With that, Jada whipped out multiple black cards.

She actually would not bring so many cards, but she borrowed some because she

As such, the blond guy gloated. "Does your black card really compare to mine? Swipe it if you dare, show us your credit!"

Jada frowned. "Credit? Don't tell me that a rich brat like you is living off credit card installments? That's funny. You don't look like that!"

He smirked. "Don't tell me that you think black cards are no different from credit cards?"
