The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 2412

While the waitress was actually surprised that Frank was letting her order for him, she quietly ordered the most expensive coffee for him.

Frank took a sip when he got bored of waiting, and it was as bitter as he thought it would be-it was only much better after he added sugar.

As he looked around at the empty cafe, Frank more or less understood.

He was no fervent supporter of tea and was fine with even the cheaper ones, but coffee was simply different. It was weirdly viscous but had no sweetness to it, even needing sugar. It was no surprise that milk tea stands could get more popular than cafes.

Even as those random thoughts crossed Frank's mind, a girl sat down opposite him. "Hey, handsome. Are you on your own?"

She was around five foot seven, wearing a simple white T-shirt paired with jeans and white sneakers, and she had her long hair tied into a ponytail. She was clearly the young but down-to-earth type.

"And you are...?"

Frank's eyes lit up, immediately presuming that Elizabeth had sent her.

Red Shirt had said that Elizabeth did not usually meet them personally and only sent messengers.

"I'm Demi Oakleaf-I study at Shagan University, though I'm on break at the moment. Are you here alone?"

Frank understood right then that she was no messenger but was here to chat him up.

That was certainly interesting, as it would only make sense if someone flirted with him while he still retained his normal looks. He had assumed Red Shirt's appearance now, so how could he have attracted an attractive college girl?

"How can I help?" Frank asked.

"Please don't misunderstand. If you're alone, I need you to do me a favor..." Demi pointed behind her, and Frank looked over her shoulder to find a blond guy coming straight for them.

Frank realized right then that she was being stalked. It was a weekday, so there were not many

other pedestrians outside, and most

of the guests in the cafe were youths He was the only one who looked-intimidating enough miles around, so it was only natural that Demi approached him.

"Hold it!"

Frank stood up and strode toward the blond guy. "Why were you stalking her?"

The blond guy rolled his eyes. "That's none of your business!"noveldrama

Frank smirked in turn. "You won't hear anything from me if you just wanted to talk to her-everyone gets that much freedom. But don't you think stalking her is too much? Even asking for her number right away? You should be leaving if she's not interested."

The blond guy snorted at Frank's words—he was already planning to get the girl somewhere no one was watching, and he certainly could not care less about being proper.

"Don't try to play hero, geezer," he growled. "Hell, look in the mirror before that! She's not going to be interested even if you help her, dumbass."

Frank smiled in wry amusement. "You thought I'm helping only because I'm interested? It's true that the mindset of the ladies are quite strange and incomprehensible these days, but for a normal girl like her, I know I should help when I can. Her interest isn't the point, and helping shouldn't need a reward."

The blond guy snapped, "Don't flatter yourself. Anyone would know from that pig

face of yours!"
