Melany burst into tears and began to sob earnestly. She really painted a pitiful sight.

Melany’s mind immediately went to the calls Hoyt had been making to her in the last few days.

She was willing to bet that the imbecile was behind this. He was trying to stir up trouble again!

And so, she decided to handle the situation by playing the victim.
