Revenge is Best Served… After Reborn

Chapter 1793

Odie tagged along behind Sophie as they walked into the university building, catching curious stares from the freshmen milling around.

"Who's that guy acting all sneaky, like he's in some spy flick?" one student whispered, as others looked on with suspicion. The guys, especially, couldn't help but think: What a creep.

Odie kept his eyes fixed on Sophie's back, not letting up for a second as they moved through the bustling corridor. He watched her hand in her registration forms and then turn to leave the orientation area.

"Hey, where's your paperwork?" someone called out, stepping in front of Odie with a skeptical look. They'd seen him trailing behind the pretty girl and were trying to figure out what was going on.

Eastwood University was known for its good-looking students, but shadowing someone across the campus was taking it too far.

"Paperwork?" Odie frowned, momentarily forgetting about the whole freshman registration thing.

The staff member, assuming Odie was new to the place, crossed his arms. "Yeah, the registration papers. What class are you in? Got your acceptance letter?"

"You mean this?" Odie said, pulling an acceptance letter from his backpack like it was no big deal.

The staff member gave it a look-over and confirmed, "Odie, an international student?"

Odie wasn't in the mood to hang around. He was more interested in where Sophie was heading next.

"Are we done here?" he asked, sounding impatient.

"All set," the staff member replied, handing back the letter. "If you'd said you were an international student, you could've skipped the paperwork."

Odie took back the letter, ready to leave, but the staff member added, "You're in Finance, right? That girl? She's in your class."

Odie paused, surprised. "Same class? No kidding?"

Just as he started to wonder if there'd been a mix-up, it hit him—this was just a dream, vivid as it seemed. Why was he getting so worked up?

With that thought, Odie confidently headed to Liberty Hall. Inside, students were chatting about their high school days, eager to make new friends for the college years ahead. en

Odie stopped at the classroom door, and his eyes found Sophie sitting by the window, casually folding little paper rabbits. The sunlight caught her profile, making her look almost otherworldly.

While others laughed and talked, Sophie seemed uninterested in joining in.noveldrama

Drawn by some unknown force, Odie walked into the classroom. Even knowing it was just a dream, he couldn't resist the pull to join this bunch of fresh-faced students.

Without thinking, he pulled up a chair next to Sophie and sat down.

"What are you folding?" he asked, his sudden question startling Sophie, causing

the paper rabbit to tumble onto the desk.

"You again?" Sophie exclaimed, a mix of surprise and embarrassment coloring her voice. "Are you following me?"

It wasn't a question. It was an accusation.

"Take a good look at this," Odie said, holding out his acceptance letter.
