Tsunade Can Hear My Inner Voice

Chapter 115: One Thing Subdues Another

Chapter 115: Chapter 115: One Thing Subdues Another

"So what if I’m bullying you?" Anko smirked, watching Hikari’s flustered expression before reaching out with her right hand to pinch his chin.

"Kid, you couldn’t escape my grasp before, and you won’t be able to in the future either."

"What if I don’t run?" The anxious look on Hikari’s face vanished, replaced by a sly grin as he stared back at Anko. "I’m a man, and you’re a woman. If something really happens between us, it’s not like I’d be the one at a disadvantage, right?"

Even as Hikari’s expression turned lecherous, Anko didn’t panic. Instead, she met his gaze calmly. "There’s no rule that says women are always the ones at a disadvantage in such situations. From a physiological standpoint, men reach an extreme state of excitement during such activities. In the end, the physical energy and stamina expended far exceed that of women. So, if we’re talking about who’s at a disadvantage, it’s actually the man."

Hikari was speechless.

"Anko, your logic is so flawless I don’t even know how to argue."

"Forget it. Discussing intimate matters between men and women with you just feels weird." Hikari took a step back.

Women fear lecherous men, but men fear shameless women even more.

A woman like Anko had no qualms about anything. If you cracked a dirty joke, she might even scoff at how lame it was.

Though Anko hadn’t been exposed to postmodern culture, growing up as Orochimaru’s apprentice meant expecting her to be a well-behaved girl was pure fantasy.

"I don’t see anything wrong with it!" Anko flashed a triumphant smile.

"Besides, I’ve bought every single one of your books. When you get the chance, you’ll have to sign them for me!"

Hikari truly didn’t know how to respond.

Sure, there were women who bought his works, but none of them would openly admit it like Anko.

"Alright, regarding Kurenai’s student, I’ll report it to Tsunade-sama. Whether she agrees or not isn’t my responsibility—you understand, right?"

When it came to Kurenai’s former student, Kurama Yakumo, Hikari was confident that if he claimed to be second in understanding her condition, no one would dare call themselves first.

In the current Konoha, few truly grasped the depths of the Kurama clan’s Kekkei Genkai, let alone a prodigy like Yakumo, who had awakened it to such an extreme degree.

The shinobi world was a strange place. Those who developed their Kekkei Genkai to such heights always seemed to suffer from some form of bloodline ailment—like Uchiha Itachi, Hōzuki Mangetsu, Kimimaro, or Jūgo.

"I believe you’ll succeed. Because if you don’t, I’ll just move into your place. Hope you don’t mind the inconvenience!" Anko said with a grin, her words sending a chill down Hikari’s spine.

"Anko, if we lived together, people would talk. I don’t mind, but..." Hikari tried to reason, but Anko was resolute.

"And I care even less! You think I’m afraid of gossip at this point?"

Anko was smiling.

But as Hikari looked at her, he felt an inexplicable pang of sorrow.

When he thought about it, Anko had been left behind in Konoha by Orochimaru, and her life afterward hadn’t been easy. After Orochimaru’s human experiments were exposed, the families of the victims—though restrained by the Third Hokage’s orders—still whispered behind her back.

In terms of hardship, Anko’s life was only slightly better than Naruto’s.

"Alright, stop eating so many sweets. You’re young now, but when you get older, this stuff will turn you into a fat old lady. Then no one will want you!" Hikari snatched the dango from Anko’s hand.

"You—!" Anko looked heartbroken as her precious treat was stolen. If Hikari didn’t still have a mission involving Kurenai’s student, she might’ve used her "Ninja Art: Twin Snakes Mutual Death Technique" to take him down with her.

"What? I’m doing this for your own good!" Hikari took a bite of the dango, only for an overwhelming sweetness to assault his senses, nearly making him gag. noveldrama

What the hell kind of food is this?!

"Don’t treat my food like that! I had the shopkeeper make it special—extra sugar, packed with happiness!" Anko’s heart twisted as she watched Hikari’s disgusted expression.

This was her favorite snack. Not only did Hikari steal it, he even had the nerve to complain? If she could, she’d end him right now.

"Enough, stop eating this stuff. Go find something else. Worst case, summon a couple snakes and roast them!" Hikari turned to leave.

"I’m off to eat lunch. See ya!"

...

One minute later.

Tenten’s eyes burned with fury as she watched Hikari arrive with Anko in tow.

’You damn vixen! I barely took my eyes off Hikari-senpai, and you’ve already latched onto him! Shameless!’

Anko, puzzled by Tenten’s stare, finally caught on to the meaning behind it. She winked at Tenten, wrapped her arms around Hikari’s, and grinned triumphantly.

"What are you doing?"

The moment Anko clung to his arm, Hikari could feel the softness pressing against him. But Anko wasn’t the type to casually engage in such intimate gestures—she was usually much more rough-and-tumble.

"Nothing~" Anko let go, not pushing it too far.

"Let’s go eat!" Correct content is on

When it came to food, Kamizuki Hikari could only sigh.

In all of Konoha, aside from Ichiraku Ramen, there weren’t many decent dining options.

Barbecue and sushi were absurdly expensive.

For one or two people, it was manageable. But with two full teams plus Anko freeloading? No way was Hikari paying for that.

Ichiraku Ramen it is.

"What are we eating?" Anko asked curiously, though her eyes never left the dango stick in Hikari’s hand.

Sensing her predatory gaze, Hikari handed the skewer over.

"Tenten, Ino, have a snack first. Anko-nee here specially saved these for you!"

Anko nearly lost it.

’Saved?! You stole them from me! And now you’re giving my precious food to other girls?! Kamizuki Hikari, you monster!’

"Thank you, Anko-nee!"

Tenten, who had been watching Anko’s reaction closely, nearly burst out laughing when she saw the murderous glint in the older kunoichi’s eyes.

’The angrier you get, the happier I am!’

She took a bite—and immediately regretted it.

What in the world?!

Who in their right mind would eat this?!

Ino’s expression mirrored hers. As girls from well-off families, they’d had dango before—but never something so disgustingly sweet.

Whoever can stomach this is a true beast.

"Here, Chōji, you have one too!" Ino shot Tenten a look, passing the suffering onto the next victim.

Catching on, Tenten handed the remaining dango to Neji and Lee.
