The CEO's Mischievous Little Bride

Chapter 673 Susan is Jealous

Randall frowned, looking quite annoyed, much like his uncle.

He found an empty spot to sit down. After a while, a girl sat across from him, "Thank you for helping me get the book. Let me buy you a drink."

Randall impatiently closed his book, frowned, and looked at the woman in front of him, "Are you annoying or what?"

"Randall," A soft voice called from behind him.

Randall turned around and saw Susan, "Susan, what are you doing here?"

Susan looked at the girl across from Randall, then pouted at Randall, not understanding what was happening. She only knew that Randall had been talking to a girl for a long time. She couldn't find Randall in the study area, so she went to look between the bookshelves. As she walked, she saw two people just leaving the shelves, and the man looked like Randall from behind, so she followed them.

She watched the two of them talking, seemingly very close.

Randall quickly pulled out the chair next to him, "Susan, sit here."

Susan obediently walked over, sat next to Randall, and then looked at the woman across from them, asking Randall, "Who is she?"

Before Randall could answer, the woman spoke up, "I'm here to study. I couldn't get a book down earlier, so I asked him to help me. To thank him, I wanted to buy him a drink. Who are you?" The woman looked at Susan and asked.

"None of your business who I am."

The woman sneered at Susan, "Do you know you're very rude?"

Susan didn't back down, "Do you know you're very fake?"

Hearing Susan call her fake, the woman across couldn't accept it, "Who are you calling fake?" Her voice got louder, attracting the attention of people around them.

Randall shouted, "If you want to argue, take it outside."

Immediately, the woman and Susan both fell silent.

Susan stood up, angrily preparing to leave. Randall grabbed her wrist and pulled her back into her seat, "I wasn't talking about you."

If it wasn't Susan, then it must be...

Susan looked at the woman across from them, even her argument was cute, "Randall was talking about you."

"You!"

Randall later stood up with his book, grabbed Susan's wrist, and pulled her to a well-lit

area.

Ignoring the person sitting across from them.

After Susan sat down, she started to get angry with Randall, "Randall, don't pull me."

"Alright, what are you mad about? I didn't even drink her drink." Randall, being a careless man, didn't understand the inner world of girls. He thought Susan was upset about him drinking a drink bought by another woman.

Susan pouted, "If I hadn't come, you would have drunk it."

Randall was speechless, "Haven't I had drinks before? Can't I buy my own? Why would I drink what she bought?"

After saying that, Randall took out his phone to order two drinks, "What do you want to drink? I'll buy it for you."

"I don't want anything." Susan pouted, "I'm not mad about her buying you a drink."

"Then what are you mad about?" Randall was puzzled.

"Randall, why don't you understand?"

"What should I understand?"

For the first time, Randall felt the frustration that his programmer friends often complained about when arguing with their girlfriends.

Susan was furious, "Why did you help her get the book?"

Randall said, "Because I was the only one there, and it was just a simple task."

"Couldn't she ask the librarian? You're not a librarian."

"There was only one librarian today, and he was at the entrance, unable to help her."

Susan was silent, getting angrier the more she thought about it, "Randall, you're defending her!"

Randall was helpless; he couldn't even tell the truth.

No wonder the guys in the group complained: [When a woman is angry, don't try to reason with her. Just follow her lead!]

For the first time, Randall felt that having a woman was a hassle. Susan wasn't even his girlfriend yet, and they were already arguing, making him feel stuck.

Susan got even angrier when Randall didn't respond to her.

She got up and left.

Randall watched her angry back as she left, scratching his head, wondering what was going on.

Randall looked at the book in his hand but couldn't focus, so he put it aside and took out his phone to seek help from the group.

"What do you do when a girl gets mad for no reason?"

Group: [Girlfriend?]

Randall: "No, but she likes me.]

Group: [Who is it?]

Randall thought for a moment, then sent a message to the group, "It's the girl I

brought last time, Susan."

Randall briefly explained the situation in the group, seeking help.

"Apologize, admit your mistake, give a gift, and confess."

This was the advice from experienced people.

Susan left in a huff. She saw through the bookshelf that Randall didn't care about her

and was still playing with his phone, feeling both angry and wronged.

"I'll apologize and admit my mistake, but what did I do wrong?" Randall needed a reason to apologize.

The group immediately teased him, "Randall, is this your first love?" Only a first love would argue with logic. With more experience, no matter right or wrong, if the girlfriend is angry, it's always his fault.

Later, while chatting, Randall looked back at the sulking Susan, making sure she didn't go too far.

At this moment, Randall saw through the gap in the bookshelf that Susan was talking closely with a guy.

He stopped chatting, put down his phone, and walked over.

When he got closer, Randall heard Susan asking the guy to get a book from the top shelf, "Can you help me get a book? I can't reach it."

The guy looked up at the book Susan pointed to, then smiled at the pretty Susan, "Sure."

As he raised his hand to get the book, Randall quickly ran up, raised his arm, and took down the book Susan pointed to, "If you need something, I'll get it for you. Why bother others?"

After saying that, Randall put his other hand on Susan's shoulder, ready to pull her away.

Susan mocked, "Randall, when do you have time to get a book for me? I won't buy you

a drink for getting a book for me. Others even buy you drinks."

When a girl is jealous, she's completely different. Susan was surprised at her own behavior.

Randall never expected that a simple favor would make Susan so angry.

He handed the book to Susan, "Here."

Susan glanced at the cover, "I don't want to read it anymore."

After saying that, she walked past Randall and left.

Randall and the stunned guy looked at each other. Randall nodded slightly, "Sorry,

she's mad at me."

"I understand. Go make up with your girlfriend."

Randall walked out, holding Susan's hand and sitting her down in their previous spot. "Susan, don't be mad. I was wrong, okay?"

"It was my fault."

Randall felt like cursing. At that moment, he seemed to understand the frustration Patrick and Sebastian felt. When Vera and Mia were angry and throwing tantrums, they probably felt just as frustrated as he did.noveldrama
