Chapter 912
"Baby, you woke up early today. Aren't you tired?" Wilson took a deep breath,
trying to suppress the heat swirling inside him. He quickly changed the subject. "Why don't you go rest in your room for a bit? I'll call you when it's time to eat."
If Yvette kept teasing him like this, he wouldn't be able to hold back much longer. The side effects of the medication had left her physically weak, and though he was struggling with his desires, he couldn't bear to tire her further.noveldrama
"I'm not tired," Yvette replied with a mischievous gleam as her fingers traced circles on Wilson's chest.
The playful gesture made his breath hitch, and his eyes darken with growing desire.
"Stop it, or I'll have to punish you." Wilson's deep voice, filled with a dangerous edge, was barely above a whisper.
"Oh?" Yvette teased.
His eyes smoldered with even more desire, the self-control he was barely clinging to slipping further.
Yvette was taking advantage of Wilson's concern for her.
"Be good. Stop teasing me." Wilson fought to keep his emotions in check. He noticed how pale Yvette's face looked, and the guilt over her condition overshadowed his desire.
Wilson said gently, "Please rest for a while. Okay?"
"Alright." Yvette relented and decided to stop teasing Wilson. But as soon as she saw him turn to leave, she quickly grabbed the sleeve of his shirt.
"Aren't you going to stay and keep me company?"
"I'll come back to be with you in a bit," Wilson answered, his voice still rough with desire.
"Why do you need to leave?" Yvette frowned in frustration.
Wilson's lips curled into a smirk, and his usually calm, composed demeanor gave way to a more wicked gleam. Yvette dared to ask why he had to leave?
Wilson deliberately leaned closer to her, asking, "Now do you understand why you have to wait?"
Yvette's ears flushed with heat, and she was rendered speechless.
Day bled into night, and Theodore finally stirred awake.
"Mr. Maximillian, you're awake!" Xavier immediately stepped forward, pouring a cup of tea and placing it before him.
Theodore took a small sip, his state still frail, but his breathing steadier.
"I'll go to the pharmacy and have your medicine prepared," Xavier said, already moving.
Theodore stopped him with a calm but firm tone. "The medicine can wait. There's something I need to discuss with you first."
"What is it, Mr. Maximillian?"
A long sigh escaped Theodore as he looked at Xavier with an expression filled with both pity and concern.
"After everything that's happened, it's become clear how much Yvette cares for Wilson. And it's equally
clear that Wilson would sacrificonet
anything for her. Their feelings for each other run deep. There's no denying it."
Xavier's face stiffened. He knew where this conversation was going and desperately wanted to stop it. "There's no need to say anymore-"
However, Theodore pressed on. "Xavier, you need to let her go."
Xavier froze, the words cutting through him like a blade.
Theodore had accepted Wilson and Yvette as well as acknowledged their bong With his blessing, there would be no more obstacles between them. Was this really the end for Xavier? Could he let go? Xavier didn't think so.
"You and Yvette were never meant to be. Clinging to her will only bring more pain to both of you. Letting go is the only way forward. Someday, youth meet someone who's truly meant for you."
Xavier stood in silence, listening to Theodore's words. He gave no response. His face was stoic, but the storm in his eyes told a different story.
No one could discern what he was thinking.
What do you think?
