Talented Heiress: A Rose With Thorns

Madison and the other students of Jubilife University were infuriated when they heard how Estelle and her group insulted both Yvette and Croedal.

"Watch your mouth. We forbid you from insulting our country and Yvie!"

"Who the heck do you all think you are? How dare you tell me what to do?" Estelle looked at Madison and the others condescendingly. She wore a scornfulnoveldrama

expression.

"That's right. Ms. Locke is the heiress of the Locke family. All of you are worthless!"

"No truer words have been spoken. Each one of you is a pathetic civilian. None of you deserve to even lick her boot!"

Estelle became increasingly triumphant as she listened to her supporters' flattering remarks.

"They're just too much. I'm going to rip their heads off!"

Madison immediately stopped the others, who had flown into a rage. "Hold back. Don't act impulsively!"

If they started a fight, then they would be in the wrong. Once the whole thing got blown out of proportion, they would face the risk of suspension. They had worked too hard and too long to afford a mistake at a critical juncture like this.

"Once Yvie is here, we'll show them just how awesome Croedal is. And we'll also let them know just how badass she is!"

Estelle cackled in response, and her tone was as scornful as can be. "If you ask me, you guys should stop with the fanciful thinking. Yvette has run away and isn't coming!"

However, Madison protested confidently, "Yvie will be here!"

Yvette had promised them that she would be back for the competition, and Madison believed her with all of her heart.

The other students from Jubilife University also retorted, "We believe in Yvie as well. She'll be here!"

"That's right. Yvie is capable of anything. She's going to lead us to victory!"

"Morons. You're a bunch of fools!" Estelle rolled her eyes so hard that they were going to pop out. Then, she said sarcastically, "Let's just see if your all-powerful Yvie will make it in time for the competition!"

The minutes ticked by, and the anxiousness of the Jubilife University students grew more intense.

Meanwhile, Estelle was looking

more and more pleased. Earlier, she was worried that Yvette would try to wrestle victory away from her during the International Medical Congress' competition. She even made some preparations if that were to happen.

To Estelle's surprise, Yvette ran away and didn't have the guts to participate in the competition.

It turned out Yvette knew what was good for her and got the hell out of there. Otherwise, she would've witnessed the ruin of her reputation and tasted defeat today. Estelle's gaze was suddenly laced with viciousness.

The clock struck 3:00 pm. It was time to start the competition.

Estelle chortled. "Time's up. All of you have been eagerly waiting for Yvette, but she isn't here yet. She has been disqualified from the competition."

Her tone was immensely prideful, and there was a thick sense of disdain in her voice. "Time for you Croedalians to eat dirt." Then, she cackled.

"That's right. What gave you Croedalians the idea that you could compete with us for victory? We're from Yarrow University, and you guys are nobodies!" The Yarrow University students supporting Estelle also started their ridicule.

"There's still time for you guys to surrender. Get down on the floor and kneel before us. Then, you're going to shout that Jubilife University students are nothing but pieces of trash. We'll let you all off the hook after that."

"Dream on!" The Jubilife University students were so mad that their faces turned red. They were barely holding themselves back from beating up the Yarrow University students.

"Yarrow University students are the actual pieces of trash, and Yvie is going to be here!"

Estelle sat on her high horse and looked at the Jubilife University students the way she would a bunch of pathetic people. Her tone was mocking and caustic when she spoke.
