Shrouded Affections Winning Back My CEO Wife

Chapter 1194

Chapter 1194:

Bryan had numerous classmates and had saved their information in his phonebook, but he hadn’t bothered to save their names, so he had no idea who had sent him the message. He replied, “I’ll see if I have the time to attend then.”

The person replied, “No, you have to come! Professor Gibson always talks about you at parties. If you don’t show up this time, he’ll be really disappointed!”

Professor Gibson was Bryan’s mentor when he was in university. Bryan had been so busy with work over the past few years that he hadn’t attended any reunions in a long time.

Bryan still hadn’t decided whether he would attend the reunion. He put away his phone, glanced towards the direction Eileen had gone on the second floor, and followed her.

As soon as Eileen entered the study and powered up her laptop, she began working. It seemed like she wasn’t affected by the situation with Milford.

Bryan settled onto the sofa in the study and started working on his laptop as well. The sunlight in the study gradually dimmed, casting a golden glow across the desk.

Eileen stretched and closed her laptop. Bryan did the same, and they exchanged glances for a few seconds. “I’m hungry,” Eileen said.

She had barely eaten at lunch. No wonder she felt hungry now. Bryan stood up, but his phone rang.

He glanced at his phone and said, “You go downstairs first. I’ll take this call.”

“Okay.” Eileen walked out of the study.

“Mr. Dawson!” Raymond said excitedly as soon as the call connected. “There’s a significant breakthrough. We tracked Milford’s movements and discovered he visits the nightclub in the eastern suburbs every three days. Although he evades the cameras inside, the entrance has no blind spots. He can’t avoid being seen!”noveldrama

Bryan checked the time and said, “Tell me when his next visit will be.”

“Three days from now. He was just there today!” Raymond responded immediately.

It had taken Raymond nearly ten days to establish this pattern, and he sounded confident.

Hearing this, Bryan muttered, “That scoundrel.”

“I’ll station people there, and we’ll catch him then!” Raymond was eager to proceed.

Bryan, however, said, “No, I’ll go there in person. If we have too many people there, he’ll be alerted.” They knew Milford was smart. He would flee at the first sign of trouble.

Raymond replied, “Okay. You can bring Mrs. Dawson along then. I will—”

Before Raymond could finish speaking, Bryan interjected, “Go alone. Don’t tell Eileen about this until we understand Milford’s intentions.”

Eileen was deeply concerned about Milford.

Given Milford’s unscrupulous nature and pessimistic tendencies, taking Eileen there could lead to Milford saying something that might hurt her. “Understood,” Raymond quickly grasped Bryan’s intent and ended the call.

The following morning, Eileen received updates from the two individuals she had placed within the Deleon Group. Recently, the Group’s Esterford branch had focused all its efforts on the Roseair project. It was reported that their international headquarters had sanctioned the funding, mandating that they secure the project at all costs—ensuring profit but not tolerating losses.

Eileen muttered, “It seems that although Amoura has arrived in our country, she doesn’t have full backing from her headquarters abroad. There’s no way out for her.”
