Jasper took a deep breath to control himself.

He closed his eyes.

When he was about to fall asleep, Willow suddenly rolled over and rested her hands on him.

Her hands and legs were straddling his body sideways.

He could smell her scent nearer now.

He had been missing that for five years.

Jasper's throat went dry.

However, he was worried about frightening her when he thought of her wanting to leave just now.

He reached out and removed her hands and legs from his body.

When her scent was further, Jasper breathed out a sigh of relief. He turned his back towards her, thinking it would be easier to fall asleep.

The next day, Willow was still soundly asleep on the cozy fox fur bed when her phone kept ringing non- stop.

She had no choice but to wake up.

The ringtone was very familiar to her. She sat up instantly when she realized that it was her phone.

Her eyes widened in shock when she scanned her surroundings.

She remembered that she had slept on the couch yesterday. She was puzzled that she woke up on the bed.

She hurriedly lifted the covers and took a look at herself.

Luckily her clothes and pants were on.

She got out of bed and took out her phone from the jacket hanging on the rack.

"Hey, Mom."

"You brat! If it weren't for me getting up early today, I wouldn't have known you stayed out all night How dare you do that?" Lara exclaimed worriedly.

Willow held the phone away from her ear.

Only after Lara had finished yelling. she brought the phone back to her ear. "Mom, I'll be right back. I'll explain it to you when I'm home. Bye."
