Chapter 1522 Hold Down, Tie Up

"So, we'll turn their own tricks against them," Sadie said, twirling her phone with a bitter smile. "I never thought I had it in me to strategize like this. Guess pressure really does make you grow."

"Both the James Family and the Clemens Family are counting on you now," Annika said, her eyes filled with concern.

"Mr. James is protecting you from the shadows, but he can't show himself. The Clemens Family is relying entirely on you to lead. You have to stay strong."

"Where could he be?" Sadie wondered aloud, her mood sinking as she thought of Micah. "I just can't believe he's gone."

"Mr. Clemens will be fine. Maybe he'll come back soon," Annika said softly, trying to comfort her.

"No, something's off," Sadie said, a realization dawning on her. "That person who pretended to be Micah at the crucial moment must have planned it in advance. They might be connected to the fire. Maybe they know where Micah is."

"You're right," Annika said, her eyes widening. "Should we capture the fake Mr. Clemens and interrogate him to find out where the real Mr. Clemens is?"

"It won't be that easy to interrogate him," Sadie said, frowning. "We need to stay calm and take it one step at a time."

"But Mr. Clemens' health can't wait too long," Annika reminded her anxiously. "We need to act quickly."

"I know," Sadie said, clenching her fists, her heart filled with anxiety. "But we can't rush. We have to be careful. Let me think."

The journey back home was torturous for Sadie.

The more she thought about Micah's disappearance possibly being connected to Nicholas and the fake Micah, the more uneasy she felt.

She was extremely worried about Micah's safety, but she knew she couldn't afford to be hasty. She had to stay calm.

The enemy was still hiding. If they made a wrong move, they might never get Micah back.

When she got home, the house was eerily quiet. Everyone was tense, and the atmosphere was serious.

It wasn't until Sadie got out of the car that the mood lightened a bit.

Rebecca hurried over to her. "Mrs. Clemens, you're back."

"What's going on?" Sadie asked, sensing something was off.

"Mr. Clemens had a huge outburst. He broke a lot of things and even hurt someone," Rebecca said, clearly distressed. "He only stopped when Rylan came back, but he's locked himself in his room and won't come out or see anyone."

"Who did he hurt? Is it serious?" Sadie asked, frowning.

"He hurt one of the maids. She has a cut on her forehead and bled a lot. Dr. Rey treated her, and she'll be fine, but everyone was really scared," Rebecca explained quietly.noveldrama

"Mrs. Clemens, please go in and calm Mr. Clemens down. The treatment must be very painful for him, which is why he's acting out."

"No matter how painful the treatment is, he can't hurt people," Sadie said, her brows furrowed. "He never acted like this during previous treatments."

"Ms. James," Rylan said, coming down the stairs. "You're back. Mr. Clemens has been in a rage. You need to see him."

Sadie noticed the injury on Rylan's forehead and felt a surge of anger. "Did he do that?"

"That's not important," Rylan said, looking down. "He's very unstable this time. I couldn't calm him down. Only you can."

"Listen to me," Sadie commanded firmly. "If he uses violence again, restrain him. Tie him up if you have to. We can't tolerate this behavior."

Everyone was stunned into silence, looking at each other, unsure of what to say.

"Mrs. Clemens, we can't do that," Rylan said urgently. "Mr. Clemens is our employer. Even if he uses violence against us, it's his right. We can't disrespect him."
