Chapter 684
"Wait, isn't that Mrs. Myers? Calliope, right? The oldest daughter of the Jewell family?"
"Yeah, that's totally her! Calliope Jewell!"
"Well, it makes sense she's here with Mr. Myers, he's her husband after all."
"But look at those guys with her! Aren't they just ridiculously handsome?"
"I know, right? Who are they? And why are they all treating her like a queen?" "And Mr. Myers doesn't even look jealous?"
People nearby couldn't help but sneak glances at Calliope and her group, curiosity practically buzzing in the air. No one dared to get too close. Their presence was a bit intimidating, but there was plenty of not-so-quiet whispering going on.
Of course, all the chatter drifted right over to Calliope and her crew. She could feel the eyes on her, and the curiosity was almost tangible. Smiling graciously,
Calliope paused, turning to address the crowd with a friendly wave.
"Hey, everyone! I can tell you're all wondering who we are, so why not do a quick introduction?"
A ripple of excitement went through the crowd.
"Oh my God, she's actually talking to us!"
"She's even introducing herself! This is unreal."
"Mrs. Jewell, I'm your biggest fan! You're honestly so beautiful, I love your style!"
Silas stepped up protectively beside Calliope and grinned at the fan. "Yeah, I know my wife's gorgeous, but sorry, she's only got eyes for me. Maybe find another celeb to crush on, okay?"
The crowd burst out laughing.
"Mr. Myers is such a wife guy!"
"We promise, we're not trying to steal her!"
Calliope laughed politely, "Thank you for all your kindness! You all know my husband, Silas. Let me introduce the rest of these gentlemen."
She pointed to the first man. “This is my eldest brother, Quentin Sutton.”noveldrama
Then to the next: "And this is my second brother, Norton Shepherd."
"And finally, my youngest brother, Julius Quillen."
Each man gave a friendly nod or wave, earning more delighted gasps from the onlookers.
"Wait, those are Ms. Jewell's brothers? Jeez, talk about good genes!"
"Seriously, I didn't know the Jewell boys were such heartthrobs!"
"Hold up. Why aren't their last names Jewell?"
ет
Calliope smiled, a little mischievous. "Well, that's because they're not from the Jewell family. I'm not actually close to that side of the
family. These are the brothers who truly matter to me."
She waved again. "Thanks for the

With that, Calliope, Silas, and her brothers turned and strolled off down the aisles, leaving the crowd stunned.
"Wait, did she just say they're not her real brothers?"
"So those aren't the Jewell family heirs?"
"Guess the rumors are true, she's not close with her family."
"Right, didn't she take over the Jewell Group? But they always just used her. Maybe she finally saw through them."
"I've met the actual Jewell brothers. They couldn't hold a candle to these guys!"
"Not even close. These three are way hotter, and way more accomplished." "Yeah, the Jewell brothers don't deserve to be in Calliope's circle."
Meanwhile, Horatio and a few friends were pushing a cart loaded with groceries. They were laughing and joking with Lisette when they spotted the crowd up ahead.
"Is there a celebrity event or something?" Horatio wondered aloud.
But as they got closer, they started catching bits of conversation-people talking about the Jewell family and Calliope.
Valerian looked confused. "What's going on over there?"
Ulysses frowned. "Are they really talking about us? The Jewell family? I'm going over to see what's up!"
What do you think?
