"You son of a—!" Chasel lunged forward, grabbing Thaddeus by the collar of his crisp shirt, his knuckles turning white with anger. "Evadne wasted her best years on you! Chasel's voice shook with rage and pain. "Even if you don't love her anymore, don't you have any sense of responsibility? You think you can just toss her aside and walk away? What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"Cassius..." Chasel had tried so hard to keep his emotions in check, but the moment he heard Cassius's deep, soothing voice, he broke down, sobbing. "I can't take it anymore... I'm so worried about Evadne!"
