A Divorce He Regrets

Chapter 200

Chapter 200:

He didn’t struggle as I pulled him toward the private room I’d readied beforehand. Every step felt like a war—he was heavy, and the dead weight of his uncooperative limbs made it even harder. But I didn’t care. This was my moment, my chance to get closer to him.

We finally reached the room, and I kicked the door shut behind us. It was a small but tastefully done room with a neatly made bed and dim light—just right to set the ambiance. I helped him to the bed and sat him down on the mattress as he babbled unintelligibly.

“Faith,” he slurred once more, his head lolling to the side. “Need… Faith.”

I rolled my eyes, irritation simmering beneath my skin. “You don’t need her,” I muttered under my breath, my sweet facade slipping for just a moment. “She doesn’t understand you like I do.”noveldrama

Dominic tried to push himself up, but his strength had already been spent on that feeble attempt. I placed a gentle hand on his chest and pressed him back down. “Shh,” I hissed. “Just lie back. I’ll take care of you.”

My fingers trembled slightly as I began unbuttoning his shirt, my heart pounding with a mix of excitement and frustration. This was supposed to be the moment he realized I was the one—the woman who could give him everything he needed. Yet all he could think about was her.

“Faith,” he whispered again before his head fell back onto the pillow, his eyelids fluttering shut.

I glared at him, my chest rising and falling with barely contained anger. “You’ll forget her soon enough,” I said softly, more to myself than to him. “You’ll see that I’m the one you need.”

With a sharp tug, I yanked off his shirt. “Shit!” I hissed under my breath as I struggled with the fabric. His muscular frame and lifeless weight made the task even harder. Finally freeing him from the shirt, I let my gaze linger on his broad chest, my lips curling into a satisfied smile. “You’re going to be mine,” I whispered, stroking his cheek. “No matter what it takes.”

I pulled down his pants, and the sight of his cock left me momentarily breathless. I swallowed hard, my mouth dry. This—this was what I’d give anything to feel inside me. Shaking my head, I forced myself to focus. “Not now… but very soon,” I muttered.

Slipping out of my own clothes, I folded them neatly on the chair in the corner before sliding into bed beside him. Pressing my body against his, I reveled in the heat of his skin, my heart racing as I envisioned our future—one without Faith, without Raina, without anyone who could ever come between us.

“This is only the beginning,” I whispered, resting my head on his shoulder. “You’ll see.”

As minutes slipped by, I drifted into a half-sleep, my body molded against his side. This was my victory, and I wouldn’t let anyone take it from me.

I jolted awake to the cold shock of water splashing against my face. I sputtered, rubbing my eyes and looking around in confusion. My heart was hammering in my chest; my breath was coming in quick, startled gasps.

“What the hell?” I croaked, still dripping wet and tangled in the sheets.

At the foot of the bed, Dominic’s jaw was clenched, eyes blazing with fury. His tall frame seemed to swallow the space, broad shoulders tense, every muscle coiled like a spring ready to snap. His piercing gaze locked onto mine, nostrils flaring as if he could barely restrain himself.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” he growled, his voice thick with irritation. “Scratch that—how the fuck did I end up here? And why the hell am I here. With you?”

I blinked at him, trying to sit up, but my limbs felt heavy, the cold water still dripping down my face and neck.

Fuck. This was not happening.
